Two days after being whistled for nine minor penalties in their win over Pittsburgh, the Sabres marched to the sin bin five times Wednesday in a 4-2 win over Tampa Bay.

The way goaltender Ryan Miller looks at it, at least one of the infractions against the Penguins—a second-period bench minor for arguing an interference call on Thomas Vanek that gave Pittsburgh a full two-minute 5-on-3 power play—might have been the result of Miller's query to an official earlier in the game.

"He told me to go (bleep) myself because I was just asking a question," Miller said. "To be honest, I was respectful. I asked him a question and he told me maybe I should go (bleep) myself."
