Here is some general information about the Buffalo Sabres, for all you new fans.

- They are the "Buffalo Sabres", not Buffalo Sabers.

- The team plays their hockey at HSBC Arena, in Buffalo, NY (New York).

- Pat Lafontaine was possibly the greatest Sabre ever.
